Hello to all guys ... it is the first time I map a control unit. I have modified the turbo press maps, press gas oil, and injection. I miss the pedal and the limiters (they are mod but they do not convince me) is my first map I accept criticisms to improve and advice to learn thanks.
I would like to know if I'm doing well ... what to change .... and how to continue ... thank you

You do this using ECM?

First your "injection on throttle" is modified wrong. You modify opposite way round. Lower Load= Higher Increase High Load= Little increase.

Turbo Pressure. This turbo can handle 27PSI? Again you have modified so High load is higher increase.

Torque limiter can be only 1 change. From lets say 1500 RPM to 4500RPM you can increase whole by 20-35% maybe more but your choice.

I would not increase rail pressure unless you know what you are doing so maybe leave rail pressure unless you really need to.

Also no need to edit the (temp) turbo map.


I have made you file to learn from. You can see what I tried to explain. This will be safe to use on car also.

The values are for example 1660 is 16.66 PSI. 1700 is 17PSI. But Im not sure I get what you are asking.

Stop using ECM , start with winols!

First use VAG edc15 tuning guide than try to edit a map folowing a guide in Edc15 VAG suite software , when you understand and read 10 times whole guide text , make 10 remaps using guide , to the same thing in winols but now use manual searching map setting offset x and y and z

With ecm no future trust me ...

There's no way BMW/Bosch programmers used psi as their base pressure unit. They used mbar absolute, just like nearly all EDC15,16,17.

So 1700= 1700mbar absolute pressure, which is atmospheric pressure + turbo boost.
So 2700mbar absolute roughly equates to 24.6psi, at sea level (and no hurricane).
