FVDI, VAG login Code Error,

From a VW Touran 2010, I want to learn a new key
FVDI can not read the DASH software for login code, giving this error.

[SW version "08.50.00 24VK354608HL'. Pleas use dump tool for this version]


What should I do to get this login code, Tool i need to get the dump

What eeprom is inside? 24c64?
Cluster is 2K0 920 875 A.

yes fvdi should do it , i think it is VDO with nec + 24c32/c64. Only on OBD and using programed key to enter service mode

why are you using version 18? try v21

I want to buy an FVDI because I see they are doing very well for the dashboard.

I have seen one in aliexpres for 300 € of 2015.

Do these FVDI work well?
What is FLYOBD for? And the SOFTDOG?

If I buy one of these do I have to modify the hardware to make it okay?

Not bad with that price .. but you must read 1st what's fvdi work/not
flyobd and others clones are same scrap ... don't trust flyobd when they says their product better than others

about softdog i have no idea about ... look like something for dogs or so

Like Volavka said, FVDI is good or bad in some case.
It can be very dangerous if you don't take care what it can do or NOT.
Price is very cheap now and there are no problem to take you money back (if you know how to use)
Better, you need read the thread about FVDI first.

I too have commander 18 soft and with some cars mine works amazing !! .. but with others is dog pooh we need many different tools 1000's euro
