Like other mates sayed to you first check what can be done with..but I sugest you buy old 2014 all 18 unlocked..nothing new in 2015 except bugs I have them both and I can say its very useful tool for many important and expencive yobs..but no updates anymore and it is dead platform..so if you do stuf til 2013-2014 its ok but if you need for newer go for vvdi or maybe obd-terminator which have oun softwere + vvdi plugin(but not sure if works good)

Thanks for the information, I will read the thread of fvdi. I'm also looking for other cables, I'm looking at the obd-terminator that alex-eobd2 has said. It looks better than fvdi. What is your opinion?

What other cables are there to correct km, read dashboard, program keys ... etc?

With fvdi 1014 there is a risk of blocking some dashboard or bsi ... etc

I have seen that some bsi are blocked

Softdog was some kind of protection made by FLY company ,I'm not sure for witch brands
But atleast for VAG v24.
I had in the past "ori" from FLY VAG only and without connected softdog was imposible to run anything.

But this version was crap ,many bugs.
Now I have same hardware but upraded to full version 2014 and is much better ,and works without softdog

I've seen on other forums that the mileage correction on peugeot only works on the BSI.
It is necessary to remove the dash before making the correction, and then do the dash otherwise.
Can anyone confirm that the FVDI can not directly correct DASH + BSI by obd?
