ODIS cannot find/flash retrofitted modules?
Trying to flash my retrofitted modules, but ODIS only works/finds my original modules, not the new ones...
My guess is that they are not compatible with my VIN... They coded and works fine with vcds and my Maxisys... |

You tried with ODIS-S online or ODIS-E ?
With ODIS-S you can't flash reftofitted modules ,with ODIS-E should'nt be any problems. |

Don´t have online, just an old version i got from this forum...
Doesn´t matter what i choose, cannot reach the modules i retrofitted... If there is another way to enter engineering than choosing it from the drop down menu? |

Forget about flashing with odis-s offline. Not possible
There are 2 odis: odis-s odis-e Offline methods are only odis-e and VCP. Both work as good. Also before flash, you need a special battery charger unless the flash file has small size. I flashed twice with engine running but I took a risk (I had no battery charger at the time and to get a proper one is expensive). Also another module I flashed with just power on (no battey charger) because it was small in size. If you like my post press

So as I am able to flash the original modules on any VAG, I have ODIS-E.
But I cannot flash or do anything with the retrofits, they just show up as OK in the list (gateway list?) and then they are not responsive... I have a 120amp power supply for flash programming and tuning... |

Did audi dealer remove component protection on your retrofitted ECM?? If not you will not be able to flash.

The car is VW 2007 and the part is from VW 2010.
Only Audi had CP at that time. If nobody else has these problems, I guess I´ll have to try another ODIS...! |

I had a similar problem once with vcds after firmware updates. Reinstalling the app solved my problem. I will never find out why.

MFSW Module 5K0953569T is most important as the horn is not working.
I have the frf-file, but that doesn´t help... I have FVDI 2014, but can it and is it safe to flash with? But i have alot of other stuff that could need a little update
