First thing I check are always the LAN Drivers or Ethernet drivers. Happened to me again today because LAN Drivers were missing.

Thus, the installation has to complete reinstallation and cleaning folded, now have the version 7.01, now comes Error in installation Lexia. Is there a solution ?

Yes, of course:
1- Make sure your Hard Disk controller is set to IDE or Legacy. 2- Make sure you have a network card installed with proper drivers, it does NOT need to be connected. 3- Ensure necessary Activation information is entered. |

Have the problem, possible to update from 7:02 to 7:44, only activation via Internet. It lacks the manual activation.

7.01/02 is already activated, but it is called internet updates because they are originally downloaded from the internet.
You can turn the network off and start it, it will still perform the updates any way.. After that, download scarymistake update 7.xx-7.57 and install it and so on. |

I must the C: AWRoot \ bin \ cut fi \ APP DIAG.SYS and paste after updating to 7:44 again or not.

DiagBox will NOT work without "APPDIAG.SYS", you must leave it all the time in "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\". But you make another COPY and past to desktop or any where as a backup...
So if "APPDIAG.SYS" becomes corrupted, you can delete the one in "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\" and copy (the good copy on the desktop) back to "C:\AWRoot\bin\fi\" and this way will work.. Go through this for other issues: http://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=12288 |

When you have bad quality chinese hardware, then you can not expect to work briliant with any version of Diagbox/Lexia/PPS software.
Here is example how look best quality of chinese hardware clone (PCB "golden edge") Quality tool as the beautiful woman...

The device in the photo is identical to mine (I am not sure if mine has WHITE OR black optocouplers, top left board).
Notice that it is missing the two caps leading to the 2 zero resistors at the gate of the serial D connector (top left board) and the CAN 10K resistor (bottom right board), also like mine. But I do not have issues with it. However, DiagBox should start any way even without the VCI connected.. |
