Yes it is safe, even if you let canbus filter connected no problem.

Best is to set the VIN of the NBT in the VO and than flash and code, to not loose the FSC activation, but flash only NBT with donor vin in VO and no other ECU's in your car.

As jeroenbmw said first get donor vin and flash it with that vin. It is possible to change vin back to donor vin if you made a mistake. And also i can deliver full fsc set to car vin Pm me if you need it.

Anyone one, if it’s possible to change vin (for activation with repair set) without flash?
It’s not possible to throw the can filter away, because Nbt will be installed in F10 pre LCI.

Yes i can make FSC kit for your own vin, so that you not need to use a can filter.

The year is the problem, very early 2010 F10. So I had to buy car Systems Most retrofit Adapter/filter.

Nbt is currently flashed with Vin A and a repair set from Vin B is loaded.

Is there a tool_32 command? Because “writedatabyidentifier” from fsc extended does not work.
I don’t want to flash the whole Nbt. Maybe one small SWFL is enough to change vin?
