Ista/D Icom Connection issue
Hi All,
Im trying to diagnose a F56 but I'm getting an error, saying that the car could not be accessed. When I check the icom status into Itoolradar it's OK. But in Ista/d (connection manager) the color is grey, it should be green. I'm using Ista/d 4.7.31 with Icom Image-03-15-02 & Icom clone A2 I have tried multiple connectrions without success: Connection via icom/enet local area network Connection via icom/enet local area network and ISIS Connection via direct icom/enet If someone could help me would be great! Thank's in advance. |

The same problem on I-com A1 (firmware Orginal and Custom)
Ista-P 3.62.3.001 shows connect but is yellow Problem solved Reinstall EDIABAS Restart Computer Install Ediabas check Ediabas.ini |

Is you computer on the same subnet as ICOM? ICOM is detected through broadcast so its visible anyway, but to use it, it must be on same subnet.

Yes is in the same subnet: 169.254.98.38 > Icom 169.254.31.61 > PC 255.255.0.0 > Subnet mask Can you confirm if the color of the ICOM in the connection manager of ISTA should be green please? What color are you talking about? The color column shows the same color as configured in the ICOM.
And its designed to help distinguish multiple ICOMs by the color of their sticker. |

I am going to guess at a few things here dbl check gateway , none conflicting ip, subnet etc !
if using windows 10 32/64you have to disable all but wired lan connection or this will happen ! good luck hope this helped , I normally for diag you static ip on laptop and icom faster than waiting on latop to assign ips ! programming use offline router as f car , if you on't will crash mant different modules as they use enet aka more than 2 wires of the 8 good luck

Use Firmware custom not (original)
i have same problem like you problem solved work perfect Reset I-com factory setting bin on usb and install custom firmware reinstall Ediabas post 2 with original Firmware new ISTA-D work but i F series don't do property connection in ISTA-P you see I-com Connect but you can't programming E F G series Can you confirm if the color of the ICOM in the connection manager of ISTA should be green please? I have white color is ok you don't need green TX and REP if Help |
