F10 suspension height problem after some maintenance
There is an F10 528i with VINV97355
A small workshop in here changed some suspensions parts on it, for regular maintenance as it exceeded 90k km. The the local guy took out the shock abosrber and ' Fucked it' as the costumer said, he pushed and pulled it while it is removed from the car. Then, then reinstalled the suspension, they found out the the car is ' poped-up' the distance between the tyre and fence is really height, you can put all of ur 5 fingers straight. the local guy didn't know what to do of course, so they called me. I found 2 errors in VDM and ICM stating that ' Signal is invalid' tried to re calibrate the sensors ' Ride Height Adjustment' and measured the actual measurements, and calibration was done. still same height. i tried to call up ECU functions, and check the pull and pressure on the dampers, i found it A 0.0 however the voltage was constant. i wanna help that guy, i will be glad if u know how to re adjust the height, we want it to be down as always you know. we compared 2 f10 cars with 18inch rims, and the diff in distance was terrible, and when driving, the car is like a swing. Hope you have any clue. All my knowledge is free for exchange with valuable information

RE: F10 suspension height problem after some maintenance
You can try to release all the air in order to "replace" it. When all the air is out just bleed them, adjust ride hight and see if it worked out.
oh edit, Make sure they did not mess with the ride hight sensors(mounted the right way etc have seen them they where flipped around) |

Its f10 - sedan, means no air suspension, no possible setup via diagnostic, has to be screwed manualy, maybe spring is wrongly set on spring pad and thats differencme may 2-4cm - probably inch, inch nad half.
you don't say if its front or rear side of car |

RE: F10 suspension height problem after some maintenance
Check the Spring...
In the regular Car the Spring set the ride high not the Shock. Make sure he install the spring in the correct position & check the upper mount. Please hit Reputation button if u think my info is helpful.
