Hi guys first post here was tuning a 2008 seat altea other day ecu edc16u34 kess v2 read fine but wont write new file back error was checksum error writing buffer its not the file as a friend tried it on a ecu and was fine but why would it read and not write ive got a galletto v54 could i use that to write the file could i encounter any problems. Thanks in advance

Both tool work fine with VW group, try with V54.
Check the voltage of car battery first, if too low use a booster or second battery.

This came up on the galletto what does it mean

Click Ok and write the file.
This procedure needed when the tool not comunicate with the ecu ...

Ahh ok thanks wonder why the kess v2 wont write it back but will read it

I can not tell you this. Have you had any problems with other cars? My Kess V2 read and write this car ...

No problems with any other cars i will upload the ori and new map in abit just to have it doubled checked

Remember all time the voltage of battery, expecially on MB and Nissan ... this car when read and write start the fan of engine end the voltage go down ...
