This is the first update in a year where the admin tool won’t let me load publication data. It’s asking me to install from CD. I know how to do a fresh install but if I don’t have to I’d rather not. Anyone else have this issue?

That's correct. It happens sometimes because of big changes on software.
start cdrun.exe and read.

Hello, i have installed the Programm, but i cant start it. If i want to load the publication data, its installing to 100% and then there comes a failure: system cant find the version.txt.

this data should be on: \tomcat\webapps\WEB-INF\version.txt
but i dont have a WEB-INF FOlder there. What did i wrong?

and what should i do with this FOlder= etkpr1 ? there are two Files = label & price.1


sorry but i havnt installed this program before.

Arrrgh, another headache. Tried installing ETK but it gets stuck at installing tools, closing that window from process from task manager gets it to the next stage but of course with ultimate errors. I have resource issue with ISTA and inability to program with ISTA. Seems to be related to this install issue.

I was trying to install ETK and everytime was a problem during installation or at the end.
After unpacking of RAR file I have made with PowerISO all files as ISO and make as virtual disk,
now installation was ok and now I'm updating every new version without uninstalling old version.

I had the same error as everyone else. WEB-INF\Version.txt missing and also the ETK wouldn't start without error.

Worked for me perfect first time
