Hi Guys,

I need your help. I want to clone ecu from passat 2.0tdi edc17cp14. I need the immo data from old ecu to be swapped to new ecu and i would be really grateful if someone could help me and do it for me.
The uploaded zip- file contains 2 folders with old and new ecu data.

I tested both your solutions, but none of them worked. The car does not start. I attached a picture where you can see that the vin number doesnt match. I hope you guys can make it somehow work and i highly appreciate your invested time and work for me.

answer these questions please:
1. are the numbers on the ecu the same as each other ?
2. did you write flash from old ecu to the new one (dont) ?
3. why do you need to clone the old ecu ?

if the new ecu is of the same numbers as your old, and if the new ecu is in good working order, this will work.

if the new ecu is of the same numbers as your old, and if the new ecu is in good working order, this will work.

Maybe i should have given more details, here the answers:

1. The ecu number do exactly match, the donor ecu was also taken from the same car model.
2. Iwrote the old flash to the new ecu before i wrote the eeprom
3. The old ecu is water damaged, i can read and write it but the car doesnt start.
I try your new file and will report.

Ok thats your problem, you wrote old flash to new ecu.

never write flash or eprom from one edc17 ecu to another it could be killed. If you have new ecu original flash try write it but it could well be too late
