Genuine key cutting machine or chinese clone and what is your budget target ? is it manual or automatic machine.

Well you google miracle A7 or A9, Silca brands, keyline, HPC and U.S or europe machines.

All depends on what kind and how many keys will you do per day. As for me I prefer manual key cutting machines. This is best way when you are handy guy, because automatic cutters cannot do what you can do with your hands. especially when lock is old and worn or key you want duplicate has worn tip. With manual machine you can adjust it much faster and easier to make good key because you can feel all process. Automatic machines super expensive and taking much more time to make a key, plus all parts like cutters and key holders cost hundreds of dollars plus updates on software. Of course if you don't like to be involved in all steps of making key, then automatic is your choice. HPC is very good brand, I don't like ILCO because it is not user friendly, WENXING from china is make job perfect too. For complete set you will need regular key, high security and code cutting machines. But one automatic 3D EXTREME will replace all those three.

Basic machine have smaller cutting wheel with 2or4 jaws. Things to look for
1. Cutting wheel size
2. Space between the jaws ( so it fits remote headed keys ).
3. Jaws position 2 or 4
4. Power AC or 12volt
5. Size plate form

After 25 yrs. in bus. ILCO KD50 is the best all around. Even thou it only comes with 2 jaws it will out due the bravo3 by far.

I have an A5 miracle automatic machine which was difficult to use at first until i worked out how to get it working at its best... it will cut vag and mercedes opel type keys perfectly. But you need a manual machine to fill in the gaps. Double sided its best or quicker to get a dedicated double sided copier they are cheap. Ford tibbe you will need a manual machine with tibbe chucks
