BMW Remote Engine Start With Mobile Phone
Does someone knows what I need from hardware to do remote start with mobile phone.
I have found one remote start system named Viper, is there more systems what can do remote start? NBT EVO Apple CarPlay Full Screen, Navigation, Video in Motion, SSH, CP

I use FlashLogic along with Directed SmartStart mobile app.

None of the major players (Directed, Idatalink, Fortin) make a remote start module for the F10/F11 as of yet. Not to say it isn't do-able, but you're going to be spending some major dough at a high-end shop (not to mention a nightmare of a project). You'll also lose a spare key in the process. I've attached the OEM R/S install guide in case you want to see what a royal pain in the dick it is. |
