Ista p not starting anymmore
My ista P this morning failed to start. says folder is either corrupted or incomplete. tried reinstalling the runtime stuff but no joy. seen the other post about running ispi licence maker etc but now i cant start ista d also.
seen a post where someone said to download the dataprocurement folder but cant find a link for it and his link was fooked.anyone help? |

Had same issue on 2 PC and a colleague too recently, only solution we found was to reinstall PC. This happens when you are in a rush and force close ISTA and or the Launcher. Just wait. This won't happen again. Hopefully someone can come up with a quicker solution than reinstalling PC |

No.system restore is off. It's a hdd I bought with ista etc installed etc
By the way I never force closed anything Anyone got that procurement data download? |

So you are missing the "DataProcurement" folders inside ISTA-P\BMW\ and ISTA-P\Taurus\ folders?
You need to replace those folders back, but with the same version of your ISTA-P. |

Right, this is a known problem of ISTA-P launcher - it messes up some files upon quick close of the ISTA.
Proven solution - make a backup of the ISTA-P files (without heavy data) and putting them back in case of crash. |

It happened to me once when i installed Esys 3.29. After that ista-p won't start anymore. After resetting the settings of the launcher it worked again.
