In the trunk read what is on navigation system, is it CD or DVD? If is DVD you need BMW High maps.

You can also check this via menu of navigation, where you set date, time, etc

on uper right side you have numbers like 3-63, 4-00 so if there is number 3 - you have mk3 - cd drive, for mk4 - dvd drive is number 4 smile

and works also for some renault - i take cd from my x5, put it to my firends opel vectra cd70 and it works like a charm, don't afraid wink, but CD maps are usable for bmw only if you have mk1/2/3, you can use it also for mk4(if you laser is a brick and are not able to read dvd any more), but dvd is much better. there is 13 CD for europe, and only 2 DVD which you don't need to change when you skip border of the state.

One last question. Do not I need any FSC code for these maps?

In which should you use the fsc code lifetime?

RE: Help with Navigator for BMW e85 Z4
No fsc code for HIGH, Business and Professional - means for all cd/dvd navigation
