Not is than easy, power scale is taken of DME/DDE, you can code with FA with more power, but if DDE/DME have less power, HU always show original power. is possible edit scale inside DDE/DME but good chiptuner is needed. Please, Press the Buttons and if This post help or is usefull for you! Not is needed write just only thanks in Threads

RE: Torque/power meter rescaling
I disagree. Many times i have sow when retrofiting nbt into car that what body number you write into nbt that power he shows. For example: 5C11, 5E58 and etc.
There is website calling: https://www.bmwarchiv.de/e-code/f10-lci.html Quote: <ns1:fa xmlns:ns1="http://bmw.com/2005/psdz.data.fa"> You need to change that TYPEKEY to get higher power display. |

Not possible with CIC, I tried it today and only ASD option were added to CIC coding after comparing before and after NCD files.

RE: Torque/power meter rescaling
I didn't focus on this issue before, but i think the power meter is implemented from the type key.
If my memory is okay, the scale was different when i put in EVOs in 316i and 335i. so its about the type key. I think i am wrong, because i always use the same typekey. (N) All my knowledge is free for exchange with valuable information

RE: Torque/power meter rescaling
I have a F30 316d, has been remapped to 185 bhp and 400 nm.
Thanks to a friend who gave me the same advice I tried using a 320d F30 Typeschlusse. Coded the HU but yet, no luck. Didn’t work. |

RE: Torque/power meter rescaling
From what i have seen in my case it seems that it may even read the NM from the DDE
on my car it seems to display over 500NM from 340NM stock but if you cheat and let the ecu think it is still producing 340nm by decalibrading certain maps so you don`t run in to TQ monitoring problems then it will not indicate more than stock 340nm |
