Mini F56 Retrofitting LED Headlights from Halogen
Hi mates!
Car is Mini Cooper F56 11/14 It was running Halogen headlights, so we made the LED wiring, 12+, 2x GND, CAN3, LIN and indicator. VIN: 2B03686 ![[Image: 9u4SekG.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/9u4SekG.jpg) Everything is plugged in its place and connected to BDC Module. However, FLE modules are not shown up on ECU tree, coded BDC with 5A2 and 5A4 too but still nothing appears, wrote the FA into VCM, tried different time criteria, different regions etc. ![[Image: KK7ReI3.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/KK7ReI3.jpg) Adding to that CAN3 from BDC ![[Image: u5K1fzU.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/u5K1fzU.jpg) btw, i didnt find the '''Terminating Resistor'' in this picture. is there anything extra we should have done? or BDC needs to replaced? as CAN3 wires were not initially present? I couldn´t find "Terminating Resistor" either. So changing the BDC did the job?

Only way is replace BDC, also in F45, not in FEM's cars

Do you also have to replace the BDC in 2015 and newer cars, there should be already v14 or newer, right?

I’m new in your forum and I’m writing you from Athens !! I’ve read the post about retrofitting led headlights and I’m really interested for my new f54 clubman! I will appreciate if the guy who did it can help me on how to do it ! I previous owner a countryman and I retrofitted led fogs successfully after coding the car but I think the whole headlight would be a big task !! Thank u all in advance ... |
