I bought bmw f20 2014r. Lamp is not lit (xenon dynamic). I suspect that the FEM module was listed in this car. Can I re-encode even if the FEM module has a different vin? So far I have not dealt with series F and esys.

Yes you can re-code. beware of something read ECU instead of SVT. and dont worry about other Vin, as soon as you flash FEM it will connect to your vin. (in simple words)

Well. Not quite as easy. FEM is also the immobilizer and is matched to specific car keys. So engine start will not work. But to check lights. Yes. Also remember if used FEM has higher mileage than the car, it will automatically write the higher milage to the car.
