PPeugeot  EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
Hi members,

Peugeot 307 SW 1.6 HDi, 2007
EDC16C34
0281 013 332
9664257580

1039S18944
Software 1037398210
ENgine code RHZ

After writing mod file (EGR OFF) over OBD, the ECU is locked, and don't have possibility to connect to ecu with DIAGBOX, flash tools KESS V2 or with Galleto.Car don't strat..
Before reading/writing over OBD I don´t make full BDM backup...
OBD reading/writing was ok without problem, during the flashing the car was connected to stable power supply 13.5V .
After flashing I wait 5 min without switch the ignition, after try to red ECU ID over obd and receive error
...remove ECU, and on the bench can connect and read ecu over BDM with Galleto.
In attachment is eeprom file (edc16c34 eeprom.rar)
external flash file (edc16c34 ext flash M58BW016DB.rar )
and file readed over obd (p307 1,6hdi bosch edc 16c3 origin via OBD.ra)

Can you help plz?

Thanks

I find and write ori flash file (hope that this is good ori file for my ecu), over BDM with FGtech Galleto 4.
It was OK. I don't touch the eeprom, only compare the pin code from eeprom dump with BSI, it is same.
.. the problem is same, cannot connect with diagbox, the diag tools say for the ecu "communication error with ecu", car don't start.
In BSI checked ECU status and it is LOCKED.

Thanks
BR

RE: EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
Hi eurofix, hi members

Followed your instruction, I write everything over bdm and eeprom with carprog (desolder and write eeprom content) on bench.
The situation is the same, ECU locked and don't have communication between diagbox and ecu.
I open original file, OBD reading before modifying, and inside the software was 1037398210, this is different from which I try to write over bdm (1037383737).
I have valid bsi - immo pin code, compared with diagbox in BSI,
need virgin eeprom content for this ecu and full bdm for edc 16c34 0281013332 sw1037398210.
Please help, or if you have idea..share with me.
Thanks,
BR

RE: EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
I fuc**d an edc16c34, 1.6hdi few years ago,too (my first flashing)-also no OBD communication after. You must find full ori bdm file for this hw and sw numbers and write only ex.flash M58BW016DB(maps)with galletto,ktag,bdm100..my car was started!!!
I dont know why you touch eeprom, too? maybe your carprog corrupt ori readings, toothinkingIf your ori eeprom is corrupt now(maybe),write ori eeprom from full bdm(from the same hw and sw) and made immo off on ori bdm eeprom with immo off psa calculator..
Maybe you damage an ecu while you opened, too?
Since then I learned, that I newer download some file from a tuner who "teach on me", and then I brick ecuheadbang, and NO help from this "tuner"after..
I would rather pay one trustable tuner and then I read, wrote edc16c34 psa
ecu through obd without problemshion many cars..but better made full bdm before, anyway

Texa idc4, Renault canclip V156, PSA XS evolution 8.22, autocom, multiecuscan, OP-COM 1.64, VCDS, TOYOTA techstream, MPPS V16 eu, Digiprog3, Bmw rheingold, carprog

RE: EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
What bsi do you have there?
need to virgin bsi and adapt with ecu with the pincode from ecu
so,first...write flash to ecu with bdm...write also eeprom to ecu with bdm
see what pincode have into the dump that you have writed to eeprom of ecu
see what bsi do you have
read the eeprom from bsi...if bsi is johnson controll, make all dump of eeprom FFFFFFFFFF
then adapt bsi to ecu with diagbox...select manual or automatic gearbox, win, recode key...etc

time=cashhandshake...no leechers support

RE: EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
As I remember similiar situation 2 years ago, You will need to read Ecu in BDM, with BDM 100 tool(not fg tech),than, to write back original files yo've be given couple posts before and probably you will need to make immo off for ecu.(which is in eeprom only for that ecu).

RE: EDC16C34 _ECU_error_after_flashing
Hello

I program ECU over 1000 Ecus and Never damaged only 1 smile.
What abaut ESD????
Any that know what is it knows, when you use all the time ESD protection on your
Labor or desk you never damaged any ECU.

You must make all on you work on bench to GND, your soldering iron your PC your ESD bench ....all

Mesure your GND from PC to erth and see what you have?
