Found on another forum some time ago...hope will work for you!
installed res 3,9kOhm should be 39kOhm |

As it works you have K-line efficient only k-line on pin 8 damaged frequent problem in icom, how does it work on e46, e53, e83 it only lacks pin 8 You can make an OBD adapter with connected pins 7 and 8 pin 1 kl15 IGN pin 4 and 5 GND KL31 pin 7 and 8 connected pin 16 KL30 +12V If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button!
