VToyota  IMMO OFF/Virgin Toyota Aygo
Hey there,

since i'm quite new in this forum, I hope this is the right section.

Following problem:
I've got a Toyota Aygo (built in 2006) which is not starting (immobilizer not deactivated).
Someone before changed the Immo Box (89780-0H020) - don't ask me why.

I've got two keys (working with the door locks and the ignition lock) - but are not unlocking the immobilizer.

As far as i understood all that stuff, it's the "4D" immobilizer system, used on Toyota/Lexus from 2005-2010.
Is there a way to switch off the immobilizer completely or at least to get a virgin file?
In that case, i would order a suitable eeprom-programmer and try to get that going.

Thanks for any help!

Regards
Timhappy

RE: IMMO OFF/Virgin Toyota Aygo
Dump 24C04 from immo box and e2p from your ECU
and post it.

RE: IMMO OFF/Virgin Toyota Aygo
Hey there,

I just got the immo eeprom read from a friend of mine. Its located in the attachement.
Furthermore, I tried to get a "virgin" dump by using "IMMO Universal Decoding 3.2". It offers for Toyota "IMMOBOX Valeo - Toyota AYGO 1000cc - Virgin".

I used the "repair" function, it said everything is finished successfully. My friend wrote the file to the eeprom.
I installed the IMMO Box back to the car. Added power and turned ignition on. As far as I understood things from the internet, I have to wait about 10 sec until the stop light stops flashing - it didn't and the car still doesn't start. There is no failure/error for the ECU - the immobilizer is still activated.

I just thought maybe the changes of the software didn't work - but using the "Toyota 4D Key Tool" showed me there are changes in the immo dump.

RE: IMMO OFF/Virgin Toyota Aygo
Have you check if you have right signal from coil to immobox ?
maybe damage antenna coil (?)

next step is :
write virgin file to immobox-open ignition for 10sec.-read again immobox and check if added Key in immobox eeprom wink2

RE: IMMO OFF/Virgin Toyota Aygo
I think new immobiliser box has to be matched to ecu after keys have been programmed. This requires some pins (no.4 and 13) to be jumped for about 30 minutes in the OBD socket with ignition on.
Also more than one key needs to be registered to immobiliser box before doing immob. to ecu handshake.

Hi,

I thought the Same about the handshake/matching. I did jump the mentioned pins for 30mins but i didn't know about the Second Key.
How is the Second Key supposed to get registered?
Is there a Special procedure?
