Hi guys! I look for good egr off on vw edc17c46..try ads but not sure what hapen after few miles..

was asked egr off...if only egr off,quantity of smoke will increase...and will need also dpf off...wink2...function of dpf is not changed...but...maybe will not have all conditions to make regeneration

I made a few same cars allso only egr..and after 1-2 years steel runing without dpf warning on dash biggrin betrescudan thanks for solution cheers

Made also a few cars VAG EDC17CP14 / C46 only egr off, but i do it in other way,
With first solution i have tried DPF are clogged (especially C46), now i do it in other way and don`t have this problem until now.
In @betrescudan version only DTC and DFC MASK are deleted, so i asked if it work.

Normally I'm using hysteresis curves on that ecu and leave all electrical things connected.
Best is to leave egr running at idle-speed and close it only at higher rpm. So entry conditions for regeneration will be ok.
Or: you can also close it over the full rpm range but than, you might need to change som MAF-maps (depending on which EDC17 and which SW).
Next time, I'll search for what's need to change entry-conditions for regeneration. If anybody knows the lable, would be great to post it here - can help me and others, saving some time.
