My brother have the same car
And have same problem
And gave us a head illness
The problem was the brake lamp
Where burn and the brake pedal switch was not in place
And even when you change them you must clear fault code to start and to f letter go away
Even the dealer says that the easytronic ecu must be replaced
Only the problem was in brake pedal switch
And brake lamp was burn
And fvdi read almost the same troubles that you have
F letter in dask means something wrong in car it can not start

Yes I do agree with this post fix the brake light switch fault first and go from there

thanks for all your help.
Sorry for my late answer.
I changed the brake switch (buyed a "Hella") but still not changes with all this fault codes.

Where you from Dave ? And what are you using to program ? if using opcom use 1.59 firmware also now you know bulb is good clear all units of faults try start then scan again to see what faults reoccur then start from there smile I also had the vin not programming fault on corsa c had to reset all units and reprogram 1 by 1.

Im from munich (germany).
using china opcom (sry, dont know the FW)
yesterday i tried to clear the faults but they came back.
can you tell me if there is a special order in resetting and reprogramming the units?
and i still cant reset or program the speedometer.
everytime it fails. i tried it on other car (corsa c) and it worked so i think my opcom is working.
do you know which units are connected in the CAN-BUS?
i think that maybe there is something wrong.
i opened the cables from the the ECM and Easytronic to look if there is a problem, but was all good.
i saw that the CAN-BUS is from ECM to Easytronic and from Easytronic to BCM.
but i could only check half of the cable "easytronic to BCM" because the cable going under the windshield. do you think that maybe there is something wrong?
should i remove the whole cable with the BCM?

sorry, forgot to make a picture of the instrument fault codes but where was 3 faults:
some temperature sensor
ID not programmed
security not programmed

I programmed the "Merivas VIN" in BCM in another car and the fault code in the BCM
was gone.
But fault codes in ECM were still present.
And then i try to reset and program it in the meriva, the code came back.
Is it normal that the BCM has only the last 8 digits from the VIN?
Because i can not program the full VIN in the BCM.

Thanks for your help. I send you a message when i m at the car, so we can try it with team viewer.

Correct it shows only last 8 digits.
you type full vin when programming but it changes it to last 8 this is normal smile

its seems you have can comms wire issue or are programming incorrectly
Reset bcm then program with security code and vin that match's all other units ecm immo etc then cycle ignition and clear faults then rescan and see if faults reoccur let us know smile
same for dash reset and reprogram then clear etc clear all units though not just the ones you have programmed.
I had same issues with corsa c and there was a split in can comms wire.

under If mine or others posts and info are helpful please give thanks/rep smile yes
