Touran abs basic settings
Hey guys......first.... merry christmas everyone !!!!!!!
i'm dealing with a problem on a vw touran 2010 1.2 tsi they tries to steal the car alst week they took out it's dash and changed settings or try to make a key for the car but they failed. the car didn't start anymore with original keys i repaired the dash/confdata. car runs again but it's got abs and steeringangle failure now and no matter what i do i can't repair it. both lost basic settings. i nevver did recoding before, is there another way to fix it ? fabrik reset ? any help is welcome. brian. |

On those model you loss ABS Software Coding when you try to program keys, So can you check if the software coding is still there and if yes than I would advice you to do a auto scan and save the scan before doing any thing else........
Now, Can you post your ABS System fault codes here so we can see because if the software coding missing you can't do any basic settings.........Therefore you need to code the module first and than carry out the basic settings.... If My Post Was Helpful

OK from the look of the scan from AVDI or FDVI what ever it is.......You need to click on Security and enter 40186 code than go in to Basic Setting and click on Basic Setting for Steering Angle Sensor and than take car for a drive and make some full lock lift and full lock to right and you should be able to clear the fault code.............I can't see the full scan but from the looks it looks like you still have your software coding there..........

If it is fvdi , from my expirience he better do adaptation and basic settings with vcds, fvdi fails on some basic settings, don't know for geniue avdi |
