Retrofit ICM2 BMW F10/F11
I have retrofitted a NBT in my PRE-LCI F11 everything is working except the Center Console buttons (Of course of the Facelift Uses the ICM2 module for this)
Anyway, i'm making a piggytale Cable, so i coan revert back if i for some reason would want to. Everything is connected in both ends except from the Pinout that will go to the center console buttons (I will fix this once i'm in the car) But anyway, i guess i'm not the first here to do this (as it also will give me the ECO Pro modus and if i will ever install a NBT withouth built in GYRO that won't be a problem) But what i'm wondering about is the 2 cables from the ICM Pin1 (Airbag Sensor positive connection Which goes to the crash safety module pin 30) and the other Pin1 (Airbag Sensor negative connection Which goes to the crash safety module pin 29) Do you actually conect these cables to the CSM module or what? i mean as the Pre-Lci models dont use the ICM for this. |

RE: Retrofit ICM2 BMW F10/F11
preLCI ICM from 9/11 use 2 wire connection and LCI ICM from 7/13 use 4 wire connection to the ACSM module.
ICM pin1 to ACSM pin30 all time positive ZXY+ ICM pin2 to ACSM pin29 all time negative ZXY- If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.

RE: Retrofit ICM2 BMW F10/F11
On F10/F11 you will find 3 different ICM's
- old one up to build date 08/11 sensor in center console - new one from 09/11 to 06/13 with 2 wire connection to ACSM (with GYRO) - LCI version from 07/13 - with 4 wire connection to ACSM (with GYRO) If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.

RE: Retrofit ICM2 BMW F10/F11
I think you need 4 wire connection for ICM high v5.4. This is for salapa 5AT, 5AR or 5DP
You have ICM low with smaller version. If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.
