Easy job some tools can read some ME7 eeproms by OBD with KTAG you can read it in Boot mode or look on NefMoto for ME7 EEPROM Programmer this tool works nice or use eeprom programmer to read it

Yes i was looking af the NefMoto sofrware last night. Will download it and give it a go. I loaned out my ktag so that just leaves me with kess and a selection of k line cables for nefmoto |

Also for future jobs you need to know that kess is tool for reading internal/external flash memory of ECU (map area) and not eeprom, so it can't read eprom content of any ECU type (at least over OBD) .

If it were me Chris i would do it with ktag or eprom programmer... once you have done it you will wonder what all the fuss was about if you use programmer get a soic 8 sop 8 clip... makes the job easier

I lent my ktag out to a friend and he is on holiday. Hopefully its something else. Not seen the car yet but an immo wouldnt stop working for no reason. Maybe wiring etc |
