so your problem that you did use WinKFP... so he clears the programming without a hitch, so it is dead afterwards don't freak out !!
First try to coding your DME with factory-default-settings using NCS-expertmode! if it doesn't work than it can only be revived with better equipment like ICOM A2 and use Ista P to reprogram !! and solve your problem  big mistake to reprogram M3 with winkfp two types of control units that cannot be programmed with him CAS and ECU For M3

HI man my advice to you is to give the car to someone has experience with bmw flashing and coding it better before you make it more worse ....

for that error its something to do with coding of module is wrong so istap unable to configured it or read it Well i will keep trying to help you btw i want to know is your car have a auto gearbox and wich type yours M3 e46, e90 ..?
