I have never try this version. It is very kind if someone can share it for free. And can you give more information why this could damage the car?

I haven't tried this guys method, but I imagine it is using the method zva2003 describes since the app.war file is included in one of the downloads. I have used another SDD with the app.war hack, and it is useless. Tried it on an L494 and it couldn't even decode the VIN let alone diagnose. Also tried it on an '11 L320 and it read the VIN but crashed every time when diagnosing. Used an original VCM2 so tool is not a problem.

No VM, it's the full installation of 152 through 154. Also includes a "crack" from a much older version of the software.

Thank you.  So that patch works on 154 as well?  And I don't need to contact the OP on Teamviewer if I deploy that patch?

This is confusing as my understanding was that 154 would not work offline?

The instructions are included in a text file, but it is written in Cyrillic. Here's a rough translation courtesy of Google:

Run patch.cmd

or manually copy the file:

to folder: C: \ ProgramData \ JLR \ IDS \ Users

replace the app.war file in the following folders:
C: \ Program Files \ JLR \ SDD \ SDD
C: \ Program Files \ JLR \ IDS \ SDD


At the time of authorization, you must disconnect from the Internet.
After entering the user ID and authorization, the Internet connection can be renewed.
User ID: sdd

The app.war included is a patched version from 2013. In my experience, this workaround is sub-par at best. It failed on 3 of the vehicles I've tested, and was barely usable on an LR3. I don't see enough JLR vehicles to warrant investing anymore time into the matter.

I appreciate that I couldn't actually get that file to translate correctly so was a bit confused.  Have you seen the other file included in the torrents?  It is a docx and makes no reference to the files in the "Patch" folder, it makes reference to an alternative method, using the files in the "JLR Autoinstall" folder which is actually included in the second torrent "SDD_V152".

This would appear to be an alternative method?  

Why the OP can't comprehensively describe the process required is beyond me.  This is supposed to be a forum for communicating these things, and we have 3 pages of confused contributors.

Next, in the JLRAutoinstall folder, find the Autoinstall => folder, copy it to the desktop, and open the AutoJLR.exe file.
After a text file appears on the desktop with a login and password - open it.
We start the SDD program (icon on the desktop) - when starting the program, the Internet MUST be turned on, then the program asks for a username and password, copy it from a file or enter it manually.
The program is ready to work, then it will ask to enter the name of the dealer - enter any
So the program works OnLine and OffLine, the date does not need to be changed.
If you update the SDD software, you may have to re-patch it with the AutoJLR.exe file.
