XZBMW  BMW F25 Webasto retrofit problem
Hi

I have retrofitted a F25 2014 Webasto Auxiliary heater on my 2013 F25.

The wiring and coding is done correct. But the heater does not start..
If I connect the heater directly to a Webasto diagnostic interface, the heater works GOOD!

The heater I have installed (is for a 2014 F25):
BMW part number: 64129330609
Webasto number: 9026939E

The heater that is for a 2013 F25 (I think it is this model):
BMW part number: 64122220985
Webasto number: 9024986A

Both heaters communicate over LIN-BUS.
Can it really be some difference with the heaters communication protocol?
Any difference in LIN bus for a 2013 F25 and for a 2014 F25?

Can I flash the Webasto ECU to a older revision?

Thanks for any help I can get!
Best Regards
Mac

RE: BMW F25 Webasto retrofit problem
Hi
It's a OEM heater.
Yes SHSX and coded all ECU

I have even hocked an Oscilloscope to the LIN-bus (IHKA connected to the webasto), I can verify that it try to send some LIN command, when I press the "start button".

For me, it looks like my heater and my car does not use same protocol over LIN?!?

Hi,
I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?
My car is f11 2012 and the heater comes from LCI car 2015.
