Hi. 

Is it neccesary to setup ICOM Next+B for coding CIC in a 2008 E61 via ISTA/P? Ive had one today that didnt succeed and gave me Coapi.2020 error and wasnt able to succeed. 

Been reading that you need to connect via Easyconnect and setup with MOST connection. But isnt there a way to make ISTA/P and ISTA+ able to program without any configuration for each model and equipment as original software? I am using DHCP connection via router also. 

Anyone have got a guide to set this up correctly as i am stuck with a E61 with bootloader written in startup screen?

ISTA+ is able to work with ICOM directly without using EDIABAS. I've never tried to configure ISTA/P to work in the same way, but I think it can.

Yes, as long as DCHP router is setup then it should flash it all inclusive NBT, KOMBI and AMPT.
But my problem is now that this is correctly setup i am not able to flash CIC in ISTA/P. What do i need to setup to flash over with in ISTA/P?

Try to change mode of icom from ispi next to ispi, in icom configuration manager. You should then see ista/p use most channel to flash cic in measures plan.

you may have a faulty module within most loop no allowing light to flow properly, try and loop out tcu with a fiber loop only after determining measures plan and or hiding tcu via expert mode , hope this helps

I was using a eBay ICOM B, so it went into the bin. Havent tried with my ICOM B Next yet, but hopefully works.
