428 mileage problem
Hi,
I recent bought a usa spec 428xi and imported it to Italy... it was time to get a "new" tacho with km indicator, and I bought a used one off ebay. I reset the vin myself succesfully, but I forgot to reset the mileage. The car now indicates 20k km more that what it really has, even if I plug the old tacho back. What can I do? |

RE: 428 mileage problem
Your FEM has taken over mileage from kombi. Only way to revert back is reset FEM mileage and put desired mileage in kombi, or use some kind of emulator. Bad thing is that you will leave traces of opening FEM.

Is there anyone on this forum that can do this for me in Europe? I’m willing to send out the fem and kombi.
