Hi guys

what everything is required for led lights retrofit for such old car. retrofit is already near done, but not complete I assume.

Already replaced lights, FRM module and ZGW (with kcan3).
Issue with car is no FLA is working - question for now, kafas1 is enough or kafas2 is required?
Collision warning is blinking and not working. We try to change zeitkriterimu, with 0312 it start working, but lights stop working. 0712 - we have lights without collision warning.

curently xenon lights, and dynamic xenon lights has been removed (522,524 and replaced with 552) and repalced with dynamic led lights. is there some different code also for FLA? or crash detection warning?

in case we have to change kafas - both camera and ecu have to be removed? if yes, also NBT have to be retrofited, or CIC can stay?

What type of zgw did you mount? There is a kafas protocol conversion emulator, perhaps cheaper than do the kafas2 swap with fsc codes.

Changing ZGW metal to ZGW plastic will give you these issues. FLA will not work and also i think the PDC button will also not work.
it is the same issue as changing zgw for nbt retrofit in old cars....some parts will fail.
There is one way to do it but it requires a lot of work with the old zgw.

NCDcafd tool, write down coding for collision warning and kafas with old date, and then recode with new date, go fdl coding and reverse by what you have wrote down.

@psya - there is already changed zgw, not sure what model it is, but I have all ncd files from this car, can check it, but unfortunately, I don't do physical part, as I don't have garage right now.

@torchia - very good point thanks, i will try to check it.

do you know what date have to be set for this retrofit? something like 0912 for nbt retrfofit in f10. just to be sure I have right date. there was 0714 when car came to me first time.

I buy new ZGW HIGH 8ASK - I don't have a problem with PDC , FLA not working with Full Led, you must change to KAFAS
