Webasto TT evo independent heater
Hi all,
I need your advice in retrofit Webasto TT evo independent heater on my F11 DU48231. I completely fitted the heater on my car and connected the webasto to w-bus diagnose and everything is fine. But the car does not turn the Webasto on. It's just keep klicking the changover valve and no heat in the car. untel i disconnect the LIN-bus wire from ether the heater or the IHKA. the the changeover valve stops klicking and heating inside the car is back. I VO coded the car with 536 code. When I run ista I could see if it is connected or not and could run some diagnose. Like the fule pump and I can hear it pumping, but nothing else. Is it possible that because the webasto is newer than the car? I knew it is token from 2015 f11. I saw that many 2011/2012 f10/f11 has Thermo top vevo. Aren't they exchangeable? (TT evo, TT vevo). Any advice? Regards Updated ZGW and IHKA. Desperately to get independent heater works but no changes. Couldn't find any new code can change something to make it work. |

RE: Webasto TT evo independent heater
According to ETK your PN 64129330617 (ZB standheizgerät tt-Evo Diesel pl6 ms, 9028438C) comes from a kit:
64502358652 which is non retrospective and 2014- only. The F1x part for your VIN is 64 12 9 250 302 (ZB sh-gerät kpl. pl6 d ms vevo, 9023983D). Not sure thats the problem of course, but it coild be a compatibility issue. |

Shouldn't VO new production date to IHKA solve the problem ? I did this yesterday and change it from (1211) to (0715) and VO coded into IHKA, got same issue. RE: Webasto TT evo independent heater
An other often issue is, that when the cars shows 15 degrees C and above the heater also won´t work due to it´s programming that says that it mustn´t make warm when it´s warm enough outside.
I saw a lot people getting nuts until they used ice spray or unplugging the outside temperatur sensor, forcing the cluster to show less than 15 degrees C. |

The problem is more than it's not starting. Its seems like compatibility issue. When I testing it the outside temperature is not more than 8°C. |

And it didn’t. |
