The reality is that I have just found a solution to make Xhorse work in x64 windows.. It took me 4 hours to manage. I just finished.

I have just checked that this method, which I tested, is making xhorse work as a passthru in Vista x64 probably all x64 and thus will work in HDS too. I am getting the lights on X-horse to open.

Some people will be very upset if I post the solution but Chinese will be happy. My XP laptop became obsolete.

I need to do more tests to see if I have all capabilities of GNA600. If it does the GNA600 will stop selling or the Xhorse will double its value (GNA600 is very expensive, and Him is more expensive, almost double priced than X-horse).
The solution is:
The registry has to changed
Some files have to be copied to the c:genrad folder.

The software modification Only works with free Honda passthru software software update program in X64 environments. Still does not work with latest HDS.

that's because you need to change some values in reg edit and also click a .exe and run in compatibility mode.

X-Horse is not such a big deal for Europe either, its quite easy to implement.

I used a differeny dll for honda passthrough J2534_dist software, in the registry "FunctionLibrary, which I forgot to change again to the HDS respective dll in Genrad. I have to try again.

I did not run anything in compatibility mode because I am using the Wow6432Node.

Still no luck with DS253432-04.dll

As I said the problem is the X-horse 1.4.8 driver which does not install the dll files, the sys files and does not register them.

After installing all dll files(from X-horse driver) to the windows system32 directory and the sys files (from the X-horse driver) to the windows system32 drivers directory the X-horse HDS is working

It took me ages. but yes it works.

It will take me another 5 hours to remember and write /document what I did.

I guess the problem is the xhorse msi for honda which cannot install in x64 windows. Otherwise it would work.

To make things easier I have a new registry file which makes the hds recognise a new mvci driver called X-horse rather than using GNA600.

(Note If I choose compatibility mode XP HDS fails to load.)

When I select a new vehicle with HDS then radio blue light appears on the X-horse and Honda Diagnostic System Initializing please wait.......

The solution is the following: As I said this was not easy.
It was not supposed to work with x64 bit environment beacause the x-horse msi does not install, + we need a new registry as a new driver called X-horse + we need to copy the X-horse driver dll, sys files to system32 folder, + we need to copy dll files + to copy the X-horse files found in runtime to C://Genrad Windows volume folder

I will make a youtube video showing that it is working on x64 environments and can do diagnostics on my honda car.

So it can do
1. passthru Control Module Reprogramming through the honda j2534 software with a hack it can work in x64 environments too
2. it can work with latest HDS software to do all honda diagnostics and with a hack it can work in x64 environments too
3 I have not tried the Control module updates from the HDS software (1 above does the same thing I guess)
4. I dont know if it can make any calibrations, but I dont think so.

Your suspicion/gut feeling was correct. I guess if you did not insist I would not have tried or continue trying. I think I am the first to succeed with Honda HDS X-horse and x64 environment combination. Thanks for insisting. My 2 days work did produce a solution. I have added value to my X-horse 3 in 1 since I can work with newer laptop. I would never imagine that it is possible to produce a hack for x64. I am very happy with this outcome. Regarding the immobi function I have never used this function before. Do I need a new key to test??? I do have a key generator but I dont have a key to test. If you can tell me how to test I can give it a try.

If you have a car with immo just see if you can access the immo and see how many keys are programmed. If immo doesn't work you won't be able to access it for information.

I bought AllScanner VCX plus new version tool. It is work Europe and JDM very well.Can do calibration also. Can work with HDS,TIS and SDD without any problem.

no you don't need another key to test keygen or immo function, from what ive seen X-House fails and the programming part but I have also seen 1 or 2 program a key.

It does work, I haven't spoke with apoelistas yet but I'm trying to.I'm using DT Mongoose clone(fake Mini-vci)(fake of a clone haha) but read through this topic and some others, there plenty of info to get it working, I'm using 32-bit Windows 10 Tech Preview. NO IMMOBI for me I'm guessing hardware doesn't support it, because when IMMOBI selected the standard warnings come up, then it kicks out and loses comm with the clone. my clone software(1.4.1) this DOES work, maybe original Xhorse can do immobilizer, i'm going to start putting something together but need to talk to apoelistas before releasing. read and erased srs and pgmfi dtcs, data lists working, I can do plenty of testing with this trust me.
