RE: OPCOM.120309c_RO-Professional+Firmware Version 1.45
It you'll not be able to reflash it even you try with an external programmer
Because the MCU it is not PIC18F458 It is the same situation as in VCDS tools with Nec But you can buy a real PIC18F458 and you can flash it very easy. On PCB there's programming pads And you need to make a small modification to make it works on k-line And you'll tool will be back to live and you'll smile Good luck |

RE: OPCOM.120309c_RO-Professional+Firmware Version 1.45
Well you have to remake the right communication between real Pic18F458 and L9637D ( after you replace the fake MCU with right Microchip MCU )
And unsolder the comoonents that aren't in the op-com ver5 ( a ddiode and a condesator ) That's all Good luck |

RE: OPCOM.120309c_RO-Professional+Firmware Version 1.45
Mate I have no opcom ver6 in my hands to take some pics but the component that must be removed are a diode and a condesator near the MCU and the quartz osscilator
If you have one of this tool in your hand you can compare with a real opcom v5 p e whcih hasn't this two components there. Or you can share the pics and I will indicate it to you Good luck |
