ISTA+ only wifi connection error
Hi CT Members!
Let me ask my question, which may be a silly question! Win10 new ISTA+ with normal (licence) install. (FAQ are done) Work fine, with D-CAN, E-NET... now I buy original ICOM NEXT-A witch is work with direct LAN cable and with ruter as well, but if ineed use with WIFI (PC-WIFI(router)-ICOM than ISTA+ gives me an error: "cannot be identified, check it PAD actvate" But other PC on same network, same car can everything, it is also the PC can wifi connection with INPA too?!?! I was looking for a solution here on CT, but I have no idea anymore... Something about with ISTA, but what's wrong? sorry for my English Vojnó

I just bought a genuine ICOM NEXT A to replace my ENET and D/K CAN cables. I've got no problem using them via an ethernet connection from the laptop to the ICOM but I get this same error when attempting to connect via WiFi. ICOM shows up with the correct IP address on my WiFi Network but cannot read out the car.
I added the ICOM IP address to my network DMZ and disabled the firewall. Additionally I reinstalled EDBIAS 7.3, of which neither made a difference. Basically connected with a cable to the ICOM I can use ISTA-P and ISTA-D with no problem. Only on Wifi do I get this error. |

If you have virtual machine installed dissable the network adaptors of the virual macine and you will get wifi connection.

I have nativ install, and the same config with ex. INPA work this ICOM with WIFI connection on the same network.
The problem if I replace the cable connection (from PC to ICOM) to WIFI connection. Vojnó

Because then work for me, but without voltage display.

Solution is to disable unused VM network interfaces on the host.

Post a screenshot of available networks on your machine then. Any virtual and/or unconfigured adapter may interfere.
