NBT retrofit F10 ZGW swap
Hello
I have issues swapping ZGW2 mid with most to ZGW2-8sk. I need to swap zgw because of most delete and nbt retrofit. As soon as I connect zgw2-8sk, windshield wipers go on and SZL is not working. Reinitialisation of flexray with tool32 does not help. It says that there is no response from SZL on flexray. Everything works fine with unmodified zgw2-mid I already updated the car to the latest ilevel. The car is F11 520d 12/2011. Coding E + F Modelles in near from Graz, Austria

Found this mate, seems to explain it. Credits to Loliceman for posting it. I couldn’t work out how to link his post to this thread. But the whole thread is here.
It's easy to flash ZGW, I use this method: Go to "TAL calculation" => Load FA from 2012/07 or above F10/F11 => Read ECU, save it as SVT_IST.XML => Edit this, change the line "Basevariant" from ZGW to ZGW2, save => load this SVT_IST.XML under "KIS target" => now calculate TAL and you should see ZGW wants a flash. |
