Hey guys,

i need to change VIN of donor ABS Module as i can not switch the sport modes on Bike dash anymore.

When i try to flash the ABS module, i get the errors as in the screenshots, but my system works okay.
I already flashed bike dashboard and ecu and it went all trough without problems.

I also can not change the VIN with tool32:

aif_schreiben -> ERROR_ECU_SERVICE_NOT_SUPPORTED
and for
c_fg_schreiben -> ERROR_ECU_CONDITIONS_NOT_CORRECT_OR_REQUEST_SEQUENCE_ERROR

Any ideas to fix this?

What interface and ediabas settings are you using?
Do you have the correct Datens loaded into WINKFP?
That IFH-0009 error is a communication error.

KDCan, com1, obdsetup.exe, 1ms setting.
I loaded SpDaten v66, K24 for Bike with BMW Coding Tool to ncs and kfp.
I know that ifh-0009 is comm-error, but i can flash dme/dash, and also read errors from abs with tool32.

You use the same setting as you use when flash the BMSK or KOMBI?

Did You try change Diagnosis Protocol(in "Communication" menu) to DCAN, KWP2000 or KWP2000* ?

I dont know that OPPS part but my setting is the same as for BMSKP or KOMB46

I try it now, i didnt know that part, that menu is only available after selecting zusb and typing fgnr

if you are working on a BMSKP ECU, and the problem is the MODE button will not change the modes of the bike... ie on S1000RR - Rain, Sport, Race, Slick .. it is not the mileage in the ABS causing this not to work. it is the throttle body adaptation value is too far off in the ECU. Also another cause is the coding in the ECU is not setup for ride modes and the coding plug is not plugged into the harness. 

If you are working on BMSX ( 2015 and newer ) ECU, the problem is in the ECU only that ride mode pro is not setup correctly, or the coding plug is not plugged into the harness harness near the fuel tank area under the seat.

Throttle body is adapted, the mileage is not a problem aswell and is already corrected on the dash so no blinking stuff. The coding is also done and correct.
Last thing i want to fix on this bike is to change the VIN according to the chassis.

Some suggested to use "esys", but i dont have a clue how to use esys with bike and dcan-cable.

Another way to fix is maybe to use ISTA-P, but i dont have a VO file for the bike, so therefore i cannot proceed to use ISTA-P

Ok guys, i finally managed to flash it thanks to cursor`s tipp changing the protocol.

I must admit that the bike loses comms sproadically on diag, however finally it worked and i post the results here so anyone else who comes up this problems knows how to deal with this problem.
