YTMercedes  DAS - Xentry 05.2014 Installed Image Dell E5500 D630 / 620, IBM Acronis
Here is an Xentry DAS image for a Dell E5500, which will work on Dell D630 / 620, IBM T40/T43, Pana. CF19 and many other laptops.

This is 05-06.2014 version. Tested and working

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

The image was made with Acronis True Image 2014 boot cd, so use this to recover the image.
This was made on a basic Windows XP (SP3) install, no drivers are installed, you need to install the ones for your particular laptop.

The multiplexer type is set for for PART D (C3), but there is a bin folder for SDConnect (C4), which you can copy over. Look in F:\Programme\DAS\
To change to SDconnect, rename the bin folder (to bin_PartD ,for example) and then change the name of the folder "original bin" to bin

No keys are installed. (keys are unique to your laptop / PC)
Use the KEYGEN MHH (on desktop) for DAS key (remember to set a date)
Use the Xentry Developer.exe (also on desktop) for Xentry key

Adobe Acrobat and Virtual CloneDrive are installed.

Fixes have been applied for SDstartup, Xentry Blacklist and missing pictures.

WIS, EPC and Starfinder are not installed, to keep the torrent size low. All of these are easy to add.

The password for user STAR is the default, User$star2004

Will to replace the C4 bin folder to place where, I can not find him.
I directly modify the original D2 bin folder, DAS can not use C4 SDConnect.

DAS Error (1.18)-9.890
Communication fault
Possible causes:
Incorrect vehicle connection cable used between diagnosis multiplexer and vehicle diagnostic socket.
Diagnostic system data sectors are incomplete or faulty.
Please contact the User Help Desk.

By default you have a bin folder in F:\Programme\DAS. This bin folder is for C3, if you need to use C4 then first rename this bin folder to bin-PartD. After you have renamed the bin folder to bin-PartD then copy over the bin folder for C4 to F:\Programme\DAS and rename this bin folder to bin, like it was in the first place. You can have just one bin folder in F:\Programme\DAS either for a C3 or a C4.

This is a newbies explanation, can't explain better than that.

You can install it on any laptop as long as you have xp OR on vmware if you don't have a native xp.

The screenshot image quality is very poor and can't really see the error code, please post another good screenshot or specify the error code. C3 is the best and easy part to configure compared to a C4. When you say com port is OK then how do you know if its OK because from your screenshot I see both the icons are red in sdnetcontrol, have you selected the workshop cable from the sdnetcontrol? Have you double checked the bin folder for part d mux? when you come back with more information then we'll take it from there.

Did you try changing to workshop cable? If you want I can have a look at it, its a matter of 5-10mins with a C3, let me know if you're interested.
