Help GM MDI with techstream cable
Hi
I have read that you can use a Toyota techstream cable to work with GM MDI software. What i read up said it can work as long as techstream software is loaded on the pc. I cant seem to get it to work. I have a techstream cable and a Xhorse mvci. I installed the toyota techstream software and driver but every time i try load the MDI software it cant find MDI. I have tried version 7.10.87 + 7.14.37 + 7.14.43 + 8.0.73.14 with out any success. Is there any specific way to load the software? Does the cable need to be on a car for power when it searches for it?(it says power up MDI) Thanks in advance |
