RE: REPAIR ERASED OP-COM CLONE BOOTLOADER FROM PIC18F458 MCU
Don't even try to upgrade V6 you will brick it for good. You don't have on it genuine pic controller. If you want you can change op-com chip to genuine pic and also some small modif to make it genuine. Mattydr67 has already posted it.

Yep, Maybe your version needs fw v1.47 so that is why we got "error interface not recognized".
This soft is available for download on the web on other websites, but this is for v5 with real pic. |

Was I helpful? Please support my time and Hit And -button's. NEW Trasdata 9 Master support Bosch SM(service mode) etc |

RE: REPAIR ERASED OP-COM CLONE BOOTLOADER FROM PIC18F458 MCU
There it's no special bootloader and you don't upload ept to pic, only to ftdi. B2 it's in chirilyc and it means V2.

Then he needs to read FTDI EEPROM in MProg and write down serial. And post those 3. Then we can make a wrapper like Easyhook one that will trick HQ software that it has genuine HQ hardware connected. P.S. This is how HQ software is made, to emulate original hardware by sending to original software genuine FTDI and PIC ID and serial. The same ofc can be done if someone posts these 3 from original hardware, but I expect there are much less ppl with original hardware than with HQ clones. |

RE: REPAIR ERASED OP-COM CLONE BOOTLOADER FROM PIC18F458 MCU
Can someone give any link in ebay for old opcom (cant find)
2 weeks ago i purchased one opcom and yesterday it arrived, however i tried to downgrade it to 1.39 and found that it cant connect ecu. Later I opened the case of opcom and found that it is 2013 version v6 with the chip that writes only "OP-COM" on it. Tried with some tools like m-prog, ocflasher etc. desperately. Later on i realized that i killed it So, i am looking for pre v6 opcom with original pic (which i understood by reading in forums), however cant find any link. I will be appreciated if someone help me about this. Thanks in advance. |

RE: REPAIR ERASED OP-COM CLONE BOOTLOADER FROM PIC18F458 MCU
I found a seller on ebay. Seller says that his product is 2007 version. However i cant trust easily. Asked for some pcb photos. Found another seller in my country, he will also look at the pcb and inform me. He sells opcom for 57$, on ebay it's 20$. However if the 57$ one is 2007 than i can prefer it over ebay. Because i wait 30 days for ebay's and 1 day for my country, also i can divide my payment :P

I asked whether he has Op-com with the real PIC. Here is what Chinese wrote: "Dear friend, i think you make a misunderstand the software version is V1.45 , the hardware is 2010 Dear, pls don't use other software on our product if we have newest version, will send you thanks" |
