Hi,

First point: Have you opened the S1279 module?? May be a bad connection or a defective weld
Second point: Are you sure that your interface is an original actia XS EVO?

now i opened the S1279 module and all like good and abute my actia yes i am sure becuse a do alyase diagnostic with it and all work good
a have a frend ho have another actia (originale) the same probleme
and i do the teste with another S1279 . but same problem
it's like a extension not a module
so any idea ??

Thanks you, for extension photo.
Apart from a poor connection or weld in the extension I do not know!
Or just the extension read serial number of XS EVO interface but it is unlikely ....
Could you try your extension on a Chinese copy?

Hi do you have resolved your problem ? i received mine but i think the pinout is not good some one can give me the good pinout ,on my interface male OBD (car side) the pin 16 is connected on pin 16 on pcb , pin 1 obd on pin 1 of pcb , sorry for my english my friends

Same here i have bought a 9870.z5 also but without the circular connector in the middle of the cable just straight odb connector and tried various versions of diagbox with no sucess. i also bought the s module for the vans as i wanted to connect to jumper 3 2007 model but got no diag on software everytime i wanted to connect i hope this gets sorted or there is a work around to make the cable work.
any updates or help would be apreciated
