Traffic sign recognition - region specific availability
I have a 2011 R172, with Traffic sign assist option.
The problem is that this functionality is limited to Western Europe, on my car.

Anybody knows if and where this region could be changed in Xentry or Vediamo?

I have been doing some experiments, but only found these regions in Comand settings.
Changing them there did not affect anything.

Anywhere else I should be looking at?

RE: Traffic sign recognition - region specific availability
yes, it can be done via vediamo, at least i had it done on w212. problem is that some counries use different speed signs and car cannot understand them. (in EU we have white circle with black number inside - i dont think that MB needs band around a sign as it keeps reading UK motorway ones which they have no red band around)

I don't have a clue, but let me play more clever biggrin

RE: Traffic sign recognition - region specific availability
For anybody else not knowing where to look, this is where I changed the settings (image below).

You have to select the country abbreviation, from the Fragments part, and then then select the corresponding value.
In my case, for Romania I have selected the same option as for Germany, because the speed limit signs are the same.
