Hi guys,

Having bit of of problems with retrofitting ICAM reversing camera to M140i.
Camera has been wired to the car and I can see it in Esys ECU list, but can’t inject cafd to it. It gives the following error:

PSdZ Error
Failed to get CAFs for SWE “swfl_00001ee1-017_000_012”. [C111]
KIS error: Die technische Einheit 00001EE1 konnte in der KIS-Wissensbasis nicht gefunden werden. [1283]

I used Esys 3.27 (with launcher 2.8.2 and without) and tried couple of Psdzdata newest being 4.17.20. I then installed Esys 3.33 and latest Psdzdata but with this the detect CAF buttons is grey. With 3.33 and older Psdzdata I can press detect CAF, but get the same error. 

I’m downloading latest full psdzdata, but it takes it time, so thought to ask if someone would know if I’m doing something wrong or what. 

Any help is highly appreciated!

Oh, and the ICAM is used from F23. If that matters.

as far as I remember , F20 LCI never had ICAM from factory therefore you will not be able to inject any CAFD by using the original FA ,

you will need F23 LCI FA or other ICAM compatible FA in order to be able to inject CAFD to your ICAM ,

you can use realoem.com or bimmercat.com for references of which car fitted with ICAM from factory.

Okay, so I should read FA from other car, add 3AG to it and load that FA when trying to inject CAFD?

I have access to 330e, which should be ICAM compatible.

Got the full psdzdata extracted and connected to car with Esys 3.33.4 and there were now CAFD under ICAM. It couldn’t be coded, so I think this was some error. I then launched Esys again and now CAFD was missing again, tried to inject it, but got same error.

I red FA from 330e and tried to inject CAFD with that, but still same error..

Anyone has ideas bout this?

I did TAL calculation with both FAs, with F20 FA got error about TRSVC unit and with F30 FA error about SME2 unit and cause of these could process TAL.

Am I totally lost with this or just missing something?
