WIS/startapp.jnlp does not do anything
Hello friends.

I have installed WIS (https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=51057) for the first time.

When I get to the point where I get to click WIS/ASRA, it dispalys a open or save pop-up about startapp.jnlp. I press open->run the file, but nothing happens. It is associated with javastart web launcher.

I re-installed and the same thing. I am using Java from the EWA.

I have tried to find a solution and did not come across a similar issue.

I did use this keygen (https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=41399), could it be that the versions mentioned (2018 for the keygen and 2019 for the WIS) are not the same?

The problem is not the keygen.
Try launching it from Ewanet and post the browser error if it doesn't work. Surely your problem is on the server.

Which installation guide did you use? Followed it in detail?

I have only tried through Ewanet, if that is the EWA browser icon under EWA folder.

When I click run, it thinks for a few seconds, and after that, nothing. From this video, 13:35->he starts the Java file, and then Java application starts. With me, it does not do anything.

What log file specifically would be the right one? There are no errors displayed. If I do it over and over again, there are no errors displayed in IE.

Ok, your problem is that the server is not available or the port is incorrect. Check the status of the server in the EWA Admin Tool, if enabled, look at this:

Don't know if it is an installation issue but at least the youtube guide is not complete. You should find better instructions from this forum (perhaps scattered around though). For example the guide does not mention anything about UAC.

EWA server has been online. I did the changes to the letter, and double checked, restarted EWA server for few times, but IE says "can not connect to Network". Changed them back, and the programs runs, but with the same issue. It tries to do something but stops after few secs.
