hello a nbt (next) has 2016 file i want to update to 2019 and have fsc generate with esys 

fsc extend 
store fsc to right side 
read
start 
write 
 and save the file

and with that file i have generate a fsc but it was wrong 
 has i anything do wrong ? 

the problem is now the navigation don’t works it ask me for fsc and the navigation with 2016 map cant be use anymore

Follow this guide mate. Do it correctly and it will work

thanks mate i will test it later . one question is it normal that the navi need fsc when the update fsc was wrong

If you have written the FSC back to the car it’s possible that it wants a new code to enable Nav. I have never written it back to the car like you seem to have done. The process was always pretty simple. Read and save the de file to your computer then use that file to generate the FSC code. Once generated use the code to activate the nav update on your NBT. There is a generator in the stickies that works perfectly.

great thanks for the help. so i think the write process has deactivate the navigation thts was the mistake. i will test is and give feedback.

As I’ve never written anything back to the car in this way I hope it is fixable. Read the DE file again, save it, load it into the generator and create an FSC for the current loaded map and the 2019 map. When you turn the car in does nav ask for a code or does it just not work? You may need to insert 2019 map update USB and enter the FSC code when requested and hope it allows the update to happen which should resolve your issues. You should also check your FSC status with esys in comfort mode. Hopefully all remain accepted.

So far, I've always taken the 1b file with cic navi with the usb stick. and this time it had tried at the Nbt with a guide and there it was something different. That's why I accidentally wrote it back.
and the navi goes on but calls for a fsc so 2016 does not work anymore

So creating a 2016 FSC for you NBT with your DE file should enable Navi again. Then recreate a new one for latest maps and try updating again. First solve 2016.

Then maybe you have created the FSC incorrectly. Use the generator I linked above. You can find the latest lookup.xml on the forum too.
