Make key with PCF7953
Hey guys,
at first i would like to say "thank you" for this forum! Currently i am trying to retrofit "Comfort Access" to my 2006 BMW e61. The hardware is already complete (Antennas, Wires, Controlunit etc.) but i am missing one or two CA-Keys. I bought an AK300 Key Maker which is fine for PCF7943, PCF7944, PCF7945 transponder chips - but unfortunately i only find used CA-Keys with PCF7953 build in. I ordered some new Chips from china which were delivered yesterday. Because the AK300 is not able to write the 7953 i am searching for some hints how i can make the new keys to my car. Thank you very much for your help!! |

RE: Make key with PCF7953
I'm not sure. AK90 work only EWS, not CAS.
The chips from China is fake or not prepared. You can not write. You can use PCF7936,but RADIO not work. |

RE: Make key with PCF7953
@TrevvyD: As bgpavlp already wrote the AK90 is only for EWS
@bgpavlp: I am not sure if the chips are fake because they can be read with AK300 but not be written (the documentation of Ak300 says, it is not able). Afaik PCF7936 is the "small black" passive transponder. My target is to get the Comfort Access working so PCF7936 is not suitable for me |
