RE: Make key with PCF7953
I,m pretty sure I,ve coded these keys on a 7 series 2007 with BMW Multi Tool. Was a while ago, I have some spares at work, will check and see if Multi tool codes them as I have eprom dumps from the 7 series.
Oh, and another thing, I think in the BMW Multi tool instructions there mention of how to "unlock" the chips, appearently some are shipped in (password or passive) mode, others are shipped in Cypher mode and you have to use Hitag to change them. All this is from memory, but Ive had to do this in the past as some chips wouldn't read or write and others would, silly me thru out the non read/write chips thinking they were duds from china. |

RE: Make key with PCF7953
If you could check it, it would be really nice!
In the meanwhile i have found some china-clone-keys with PCF7952 for ComfortAccess but i would buy this keys only if there is no possibility anymore to get the original working. Some days ago i contacted NXP to get some information about the chips. Still waiting for an answer... |

RE: Make key with PCF7953
Hi guys, I have a question on you. Which transponder type is needed for the Comfort Access? I am kind of new to the CAS and doing my research, but it goes very slow. I would really appreciate if you could tell me where to begin with the Comfort Access.

RE: Make key with PCF7953
Thank you very much for the answer! Now it seems much more clear to me. I of course went through this thread but I was not certain if any other transponder could meet the CA requirements.

PCF7953 is for F series (Hitag Pro chip) while E series use Hitag2 chips

RE: Make key with PCF7953
You are deeply mistaken here. If you read the complete thread and take a look at the pictures on the previous page you will find out the truth
