I can only say what i've read from them multiple times: Users that have been using EsysX will be able to use EsysNeXt 4 free as compensation for a specific time. Just write them over facebook if you have any question. they will help you more precisely

So updates for program are lifetime?

Seems that coding mapping updates are included. This is a claim from new software on the sceene, time will tell if this will be true.

I think this should not be confused with general software updates. I would expect that Rob will introduce new features to the tool that you will need to pay extra or introduce some sort of a payement plan. I'm just guessing based on HU Engineering Tool developement story.
