Hi,

So i have a cg pro and am able to download the eeprom of the JCW kombi i want to virginize, so i can sell it.

I am able to lower the milage but dont know where and which lines i need to change to remove the stored vin.

I have attached 2 files. 1 with lower milage and the original.

Can i get some guidiance which lines i need to change for the vin to be cleared. Or can someone clear and upload it back to me.

Edit: 35128wt in 6wb jcw kombi clearing vin worked. Did not try lowering mileage because its low already. It picked the mileage in cas and red dot is gone. Vin’s had to be removed from eeprom..

If you open your 35160 read file with hex, you will see your vin number in 2 lines. you need to change it to FF. In this way, you can delete the vin number.

Did you read with eeprom clip eeprom still attached to the board or eeprom removed?

Eeprom removed and soldered on cg pro board

So now i tried to lower the milage to 10k again since i loaded original eeprom yesterday, that failed and set the milage to 983k. Now if i try to write OG eeprom it says.

"The current mileage is more than 800,000 kilometers and does not supprt erasure"....

So now i cant even load back the original eeprom.
